Hey 👋 So this is where I typically talk about the cool stuff we’ve been reading, watching and downloading recently. But this month we have so many updates for you that I just don't have much space for that! So rest assured, we have some super interesting stuff below — I’ll let you discover it for yourself 😁

 

The big news this month is that we’ve just released a fresh Sketch update that introduces some big things. We’ve got annotations, new Workspace templates and document Libraries — plus the option to open and edit your Figma files in Sketch. Yeah, I know. Told you it was big.

 

But we also have a new home page, a new look for our blog (although you might recognize the name…) and a new post that talks about the future for Sketch. You’ll find all this good stuff down below.

 

On a personal note, this is my last issue of the Beyond the Canvas newsletter before I let my extremely talented friend and colleague Alex take the reins next month. It’s been a pleasure — thanks so much for reading!

You can now choose which Libraries to enable for individual documents. We’ve also introduced a bunch of new templates — and you can make your own templates for everyone in your Workspace to use. To round things off, we‘re excited to introduce a simple way to import your Figma files into Sketch!
